a lovely resort and our apartments are right in the centre of town. The resort is flat and ideal for wheelchairs. The area is flat and there is good access to the local bars and restaurants.

Pollensa Town
  Pollensa (Pollença) is a lovely inland medieval town with a bustling market on Sunday mornings. See the Calvario steps, Roman Bridge, Museu Dionis Bennassar, Santo Domingo Cloister.

Marineland - Marine Zoo Majorca





Marineland

This is well worth a visit and is easily accessible by wheelchair. The highlights of this Marine Zoo include the Dolphin shows, which have received many international awards, and the Sea Lion and Parrot Shows (All wheelchair accessible). Located by a lovely beach close to Palma Nova and Magaluf, MARINELAND MALLORCA is great fun for eveyone. Reptiles, sharks, penguins, the aviary, the underwater dolphin viewing area and the new Dolphin School make this a not to be missed day out.

Here is a list of Country Houses that are worth visiting. Access by wheelchair can vary from place to place so it would be worth emailing or phoning to ensure your personal requirements can be met. I have visited "Els Calderers" with my wife and three children, the oldest of which (Chris) uses a wheelchair. He could not gain access to all the floors of the house but certainly could see enough to make the visit worthwhile.

The Yannick & Ben Jakober Foundation forms a permanent collection of art and sculpture, located along the spectacular Coll Baix Penninsula with views overlooking the Bay of Alcudia. A unique permanent collection of over 150 European portraits of children dating from the 16th – 19th Centuries is exquisitely displayed in a converted underground water reservoir.
Visitors can also enjoy the contemporary outdoor sculpture trails and rose garden.
